This Refund and Returns Policy (“Policy”) governs the terms under which refunds may be requested and processed for digital products offered by Open Ledger (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By purchasing any product from our platform, you (“Customer”, “User”) agree to the terms outlined in this Policy.
1. Scope and Application
This Policy applies exclusively to all digital products and services provided by Open Ledger, including but not limited to digital guides, educational materials, templates, structured systems, and downloadable or accessible online content.
Due to the nature of digital distribution, all products are considered intangible, non-returnable goods once access has been granted, delivered, or made available to the Customer.
2. Nature of Digital Delivery
All products are delivered electronically through online access, download links, user dashboards, or other digital means. Upon successful payment:
- The Customer is granted immediate or near-immediate access to the purchased product
- The product is considered “delivered” once access credentials or download links are provided
- The Customer assumes full responsibility for accessing and utilizing the product
Due to this delivery model, traditional returns involving physical goods are not applicable.
3. General Refund Principle
As a general rule, all sales of digital products are final. However, Open Ledger may, at its sole discretion, provide refunds under specific, limited, and clearly defined circumstances.
Refunds are not guaranteed and are subject to review, verification, and approval.
4. Eligible Refund Circumstances
A refund request may be considered valid only if one or more of the following conditions are met:
- A confirmed technical error resulted in duplicate or incorrect billing
- The Customer did not receive access to the purchased product within a reasonable timeframe after payment
- The delivered product is materially different from the official description presented at the time of purchase
- A critical technical issue on the Company’s side prevents access to the product and cannot be resolved within a reasonable period
All claims must be supported with sufficient evidence and clearly documented.
5. Non-Refundable Conditions
Refunds will not be granted under the following circumstances:
- The product has been accessed, downloaded, viewed, or otherwise used
- The request is based on personal dissatisfaction, subjective expectations, or perceived lack of results
- The Customer failed to review the product description, format, or scope prior to purchase
- The Customer lacks the technical ability, software, or tools required to use the product
- The request is submitted after the expiration of the refund eligibility period
- The Customer changes their decision after purchase for any non-technical reason
All product descriptions are provided in detail to ensure informed purchasing decisions.
6. Refund Request Deadline
All refund requests must be submitted within 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of purchase.
Requests submitted after this period will not be considered, regardless of circumstances.
7. Refund Request Procedure
To initiate a refund request, the Customer must contact the Company through official communication channels and provide the following information:
- Full name and email address associated with the purchase
- Order number, invoice, or transaction ID
- A clear, detailed explanation of the issue
- Supporting evidence (if applicable), including screenshots or error descriptions
Incomplete or unclear requests may delay processing or result in rejection.
8. Review and Decision Process
All refund requests are reviewed individually. The Company reserves the right to:
- Request additional information or clarification
- Investigate technical or billing records
- Approve or deny the request at its sole discretion
The decision of Open Ledger regarding any refund request is final and binding.
9. Refund Processing
If a refund is approved:
- The amount will be returned using the original payment method
- Processing time may take between 5–10 business days, depending on the payment provider
- The Company is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment systems
Any applicable transaction fees, currency conversion differences, or intermediary charges may not be refundable.
10. Revocation of Access
Upon issuance of a refund:
- All access rights to the digital product will be immediately revoked
- The Customer must cease all use of the refunded materials
- Any previously downloaded content must not be used, shared, or distributed
Unauthorized use of refunded materials may result in legal action or restriction of future access to Company services.
11. Intellectual Property Protection
All digital products remain the intellectual property of Open Ledger. Purchasing a product grants a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license for personal or internal business use only.
Refund approval does not transfer ownership rights. Any misuse, duplication, resale, or unauthorized distribution of content is strictly prohibited.
12. Limitation of Liability
Open Ledger shall not be held liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Business losses resulting from the use or inability to use the product
- Outcomes based on individual implementation or interpretation
All products are provided “as is” without guarantees of specific results.
13. Policy Updates
The Company reserves the right to modify or update this Policy at any time without prior notice. The version published on the website at the time of purchase shall apply.
14. Contact Information
For all inquiries related to this Policy, including refund requests, Customers must contact the Company via official communication channels provided on the website.
